Sinfully Natural Soaps: Jacob

The third soap I tried from SN was the “Who’s afraid of the big bad wolf” bar. (All of SN’s soaps are handmade natutally from scratch and not from a melt and pour base.) This one is scented with earthy, woodsy scents, just as Jacob was described. The quote that this bar came with was “Who’s afraid of the big bad wolf?” as spoken by Jacob himself.

To me, this bar seems more fit for a man to use. It has a natural tan or brown coloring, with swirls of more brown earthy colors on top. It has a rich creamy lather that gets skin squeaky clean. On my bar, the fragrance actually didn’t seem to last. My husband has been the only one to use it, and after he showered I couldn’t smell it on him like I could when he uses the Edward bar. The scent is still pleasant to use.

I can see why Bella was attracted to Jake as well. There’s just something about an earthy (not dirty) smelling man is sexy.

Sinfully Natural Soaps: Bella

The second soap I tried from SN was the Bella bar. It was handmade from scratch, not from a melt and pour base, and it is scented with lavender and freesia. The quote that this bar came with was “You smell so good in the rain,” as spoken by Edward.

The Bella bar is a little more decorative than the Edward bar with its two toned layers. The bottom layer is a light creamy white color, and the top is a light pinky fuschia colored. The top is textured with sort of waves, and is accented with pretty little shimmers. It has a rich creamy lather that gets my skin squeaky clean, and the fragrance actually lingers on my skin for a good while. The scent isn’t as floral as I would have expected, but I’m not crazy about really flowery smells, so I was happy about that. To me, it seems to have more of a delicate clean scent. I love using this soap when I’m feeling a little more girly.

Overall, the soap has a lovely scent. I cut mine up into thirds to make it last longer because I went through my Edward soap so fast. This is another must have Twilight goody if you’re into smelling like the characters of Twilight!

Sinfully Natural Soaps: Edward

The first soap I tried from SN was the “I like boys who sparkle” bar. This soap is scented with honey, lilac, and sun just like Edward. It came packaged so pretty that I almost hated to open it… almost. It smelled too intoxicating not to use it. I love how she adds the tags with quotes to the bars of soap. As you can see, the quote that this bar came with was “Marry me first,” as spoken by Edward.

The bar itself is a delight to use. It has a natural tan or light brown coloring. It has a rich creamy lather that gets my skin squeaky clean, and the fragrance actually lingers on my skin for a good while. The best part, of course, is the scent. If Edward was real, I truly think that she has captured what he would smell like. The sweet scent of honey is the first note you smell, and then the lilacs which aren’t too overly floral. Then comes the sun… I can’t be sure what combination of fragrances she used in her interpretation of the scent of sunshine, but I am sure that she chose well. Something about it reminds me of brown sugar or cinnamon, but my nose could be wrong.

Overall, the soap has a strongly intoxicating scent, which is just how Edward is described in the book. The smell is hard to resist, and even my husband loves it. We are on our second bar already, and I’m positive that we’ll be ordering many more to come.

Sinfully Natural Soaps: Intro

Coming up in the next few days, I will be posting my reviews of Sinfully Natural’s Twilight inspired soaps. I say Twilight-inspired meaning that the soaps smell like how the character’s scents were described in the book. How could you not want to smell like Edward? Or even Bella, Alice, or Jacob?

These are the real deal. They are handcrafted cold process soaps – not made from a glycerin melt and pour base. The soaps are high quality, moisturizing olive oil & shea butter soaps that are handmade from scratch. These soaps are a pleasure to use and I hope my review will tickle you into wanting to try them out for yourself!
